STRICKLAND vs IMAVOV Standoff SPARKS $10K Monthly Offer For ALL Fighters

“Getting punched in the face for a living should come with a guaranteed bag.”

— Gamdom

While Sean Strickland refuses to defend his belt without a new deal, an outside sponsor just offered every UFC fighter $10,000 a month.

"Getting punched in the face for a living should come with a guaranteed bag."

That line landed on X on Monday. By Tuesday, it was the loudest story in the pay fight that will not go away.

Online casino Gamdom published an open letter to the whole UFC roster. The offer is simple: $10,000 a month, per fighter, for anyone who signs up.

Why This Offer Hits Hard

Strickland is the middleweight champion. He is refusing to fight Nassourdine Imavov until he gets a better deal from the UFC.

A rumored offer of $400,000 to show and $400,000 to win made the rounds — and MMA Junkie's Mike Bohn reports those figures are false: Strickland signed a new six-fight deal before UFC 328 and earned more than $1 million for beating Chimaev. He still wants more, and he has not moved.

Into that standoff steps an outside company. Gamdom is owned by German entrepreneur Felix Romer, and its letter covers everyone — debut fighters and champions alike.

What The Letter Actually Says

The $10,000 figure is not random. It matches the minimum a fighter can make for one UFC bout.

Gamdom says the money is there to support training, families, and futures. The company also says the deals still depend on agreed terms and on each fighter's existing contracts.

Not An Attack, Says The Founder

Romer was quick to calm the story down. He said the offer is not an attack on the UFC and that he respects what the promotion has built.

That will not stop the questions. A champion is holding out, fans are backing him, and now an outside sponsor is pricing the problem at $10,000 a month for every single fighter.

Does the UFC answer Strickland first — or does this offer change the whole pay conversation?
